"Nevermind red bottoms, we rock golden laces."

@VanessaTreks

What will YOU train for this spring?!

Name Your TREKsperience Here!!!

Work hard.  Play hard!

It's easy to trek hard in the spring when we have something fun to look forward to in the summer!  Two years ago, Nicole (pictured left) trained with GirlTrek to climb to the top of Mt. Whitney.  Last year, she set a bigger goal and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.  It's time for YOU to name your TREKsperience! Use the space on the left to declare to the world what your TREKsperience wil be this year!  Then lace up and get ready to train in the next trek challenge.

How will you reward yourself?

  • "I'm joining a 3-day backpacking trip in Shenandoah on July 3rd!"

  • "I've always wanted to take a walking tour of Paris! I booked my ticket for August 14th.  Bon voyage!"

  • "I just signed up for my first Salsa lesson at a local studio. Gotta get a flirty dress that hugs my new curves!"

  • "I'm training for my first race!  I'm running in the Michigan Wine Trail Half Marathon on August 24th."

  • "I want to lose enough weight to go horseback riding.  I booked a horseback riding trip on July 1st.  I have 15 pounds to lose!"

The Basics.

  1. What a TREKsperience? A fun active summer adventure that you use to reward yourself for months of daily trekking each spring.

  2. When Is It?:  July or August of each year!

  3. Where should I go?  Anywhere!  It doesn't have to include travel.

  4. Make it real.  Book it!  Leave a comment.  Tell us the details of your adveture!   Where is it?  When is it?

  5. Represent.  When you succeed, wear your superhero blue GirlTrek gear, swimsuit - we even know women with super hero blue evening gowns!  Post your victory photos on social media using #GirlTrek
